Since 1965, Duthie Power Services has served as Southern California’s Generator Experts, and they are sharing their expertise through 16 new educational videos published on the Duthie Power News Blog. Ranging in topics from what to expect in a generator overhaul to what can go wrong with a generator engine block heater, this collection of short “generator 101” videos features the expertise of Duthie Power’s sales and service professionals.
Sales Engineer Peter Thornton, heavily featured in Duthie Power’s videos, explains, “I, of course, am delighted to be featured on the Duthie Power website as “Ask Pete” to help consumers get answers to their generator questions. These new videos have been a great way to build upon that customer service offering by helping customers understand basic services and issues that can happen with their backup power equipment.”
While there are familiar faces in the new videos from staff featured in previous media, there are also new personalities from across Duthie Power’s departments. Corinne Rodriguez, Sales Operations Manager, discusses “big machines” utilized in generator installations. “I project manage all new equipment installations, so I’m responsible for securing the forklifts, cranes, and more, that are sometimes required for installation, depending on where we’re installing. I had a great time participating in this video!”
Featured on both Duthie Power’s YouTube channel and in the Duthie Power News Blog, these videos were produced as part of fulfilling a company mission to ensure everyone has access to the power they need. And since knowledge is power, these videos serve to empower the public with knowledge that helps them navigate the emergency power industry more effectively.
