As part of its commitment to supporting events that enrich the community, Duthie Power Services is once again a sponsor of the Borrego Springs Golf Classic presented by the Payne Family Foundation, benefiting The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego – Borrego Springs Branch. This annual event, taking place February 24th at de Anza Country Club, raises money to support after school activities and academic achievement for San Diego children.

Duthie Power Services, a generator service company based out of Southern California since 1965, began their sponsorship of the Borrego Springs Charity Golf Classic in 2019.  As Erik Duthie, Senior VP and General Manager explains, “Scholarship dollars are crucial to secure the membership of every single kid at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego. We couldn’t think of a better cause to support than one that promotes an active lifestyle and supports the social and academic development of young students.”

In addition, Duthie Power’s Marketing Manager Jennifer Watkins will be attending the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego’s annual “You Go Girl” Track Meet on February 20th, 2023. “I’m excited to be able to support an empowering sports event for young women. We often encourage leadership, but learning how to work with a team can be just as valuable.”
